The Halloween costume panic is starting to set in. With the calendar counting down to October 31, people are starting to wonder how they can top last year’s costume. If you’ve been attempting to brainstorm creative ideas, but are coming up short, you don’t have to look very far. One of the best places to look for Halloween costume inspiration is from all the great TV shows currently on air.

Between Riverdale, GLOW, Cloak & Dagger and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, we’re spoiled for choice with easy, fun and creative costume ideas. The hardest part will be narrowing down what costume you’re going to create.

Here are 15Halloween costumes inspired by the hottest shows that just might win you the best Halloween costume award.

Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge from Riverdale

Grab your best friend so you can nail these Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge costumes from Riverdale. The beauty of these costumes is that you likely already have all of the clothes in your wardrobe. Black top? Black skirt? Check, check. Pink sweater and skinny jeans? Yes x2. If one of you has blonde hair and the other dark hair, you don’t even need to worry about wigs or hair dye. Keep this idea in mind for a last-minute Halloween party invite.

Ruth Wilder from GLOW

GLOW is overflowing with Halloween costume inspiration. If you want to channel your inner badass, this wrestling performance outfit inspired by Ruth Wilder is one fabulous way to do it. You can repurpose an old bathing suit or dance costume or pick up a cheap bodysuit. And please do not forget the furry hat.

Midge Klump and Toni Topaz from Riverdale

Do you want to dress up as someone from Riverdale but you don’t want to be one of 800 people dressed up like Betty or Jughead Jones? How about dressing up as Midge Klump or Toni Topaz? Grab your best friend and you can be both of them. If you want an excuse to have unicorn hair, Toni is the perfect costume. The River Vixens practice uniforms are something you could DIY from your own closet and actually want to wear again later.

Debbie Eagan/Liberty Belle from GLOW

You can celebrate Halloween, GLOW and America in one look thanks to this costume. Debbie Eagan has some major style outside of the ring, but her patriotic Liberty Belle costume is iconic. It’s a great way to repurpose your Fourth of July bathing suit.

Tan France from Queer Eye

If your crew is a pack of five, even better – you can go as the whole fab five! But we’ve gotta say that Tan France from Queer Eye is probably your best bed for recognizability. Dye your hair a silvery-gray and wear a floral button down, and you’re pretty much good to go. Then talk to your friends about how they can “elevate” their style. If it’s chilly outside, slide on a fitted blazer. Antoni is probably the easiest costume, though, all he’s gotta do is throw on a band tee and carry around an avocado.

Cheryl Blossom from Riverdale

You are going to want to be Cheryl Blossom from Riverdale for Halloween just for the beautiful red hair alone. This costume has gorgeous hair and makeup that’s as flawless as the actual Cheryl’s. Then you add in the pristine dress and short gloves. This is the sort of look that is worth skipping the candy corn and toffee apples for so you don’t mess it up.

Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones from Riverdale

Grab bae or a willing guy friend and dress up like Betty and Jughead from Riverdale for the ultimate #couplegoals costume. This couple’s costume is so adorable but it’s actually so easy to do. I guarantee that you and whoever your Jughead is will have most of these pieces in your wardrobes. If not, borrow them from friends or go thrifting.

Cloak and Dagger from Cloak & Dagger

Let’s not make things overly complicated by trying to replicate the fancy Cloak & Dagger costumes from the comics. Leave the bodysuits and billowing caps for another day and channel the easy looks from Cloak and Dagger from the TV show. Those who are being Cloak can pop on a black hoodie and a green T-shirt. All Dagger wannabes need to do is put on a white (or off-white) sweatshirt. And you’re good to go.

Jughead Jones from Riverdale

Because why should guys only get to dress up like Jughead? A gender-bending costume is always fun. When you dress up as Jughead, it means that you get to wear his fun hat. You could repurpose a beanie but we like this paper hat option. It gives the hat more of a sharp finish and nods to the comic. Put on a plaid shirt and strike your best moody pose and you’ve got things down. If someone offers to be your Betty, do not say no.

Ruth Wilder from GLOW

If you love big hair, the ’80s and wrestling, a GLOW costume is perfect for you. There are countless characters and bodysuits to draw inspiration from, but we cannot get enough of this look inspired by Ruth. Once you have the bodysuit, you can fashion a pair of arm warmers in no time. If you’re in a bind, you can use the legs of metallic tights. The thing that will take the longest is teasing your hair.

The Weird Sisters from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina drops right before Halloween so you can be super trendy and try a costume this year before everyone else does next year. If you’ve got a trio of friends, save the Sabrina Spellman costume for another day and dress up as “The Weird Sisters.” You can fight it out among your friends who will be Prudence, Agatha and Dorcas. It doesn’t matter too much who you end up being because you’re all going to be wearing dark lipstick and dresses with lace details.

Sabrina Spellman from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Help introduce everyone to the new Sabrina from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina with your Halloween costume. The show has a brilliant moody vintage aesthetic that you will want to be a part of. Unlike some retro Halloween costumes this one doesn’t require a lot of work. The hair and makeup are low-key but still very stylish. Don’t forget a headband!

Debbie Eagan/Liberty Belle from GLOW

Because you can never have enough bodysuits, wrestling and sparkle. If you can’t find a star-spangled bodysuit, you can make your own. Start with a shimmering silver metallic bodysuit and bedazzle it with red, silver and blue stars. Make sure that your makeup coordinates with the look and that your hair is teased to the extreme.

Jughead Jones and Cheryl Blossom from Riverdale

Trust us when we say that these costumes would look as cute from the front as they do from the back. Of course, we totally understand that you will want to show your Southside Serpents’ pride. You could DIY these jackets, but know that there are soooooo many versions available to buy if you’re not up to crafting. If you buy one, it means you just need to worry about the Jughead hat and what you’re going to pair with the jackets.

Sabrina Spellman, Rosalind Walker and Susie Putnam from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Grab any willing friends to dress up as characters from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Because it’s your idea, you have first dibs on Sabrina. Then the others can be Rosalind Walker and Susie Putman. All of the characters will give you a chance to dress up in vintage duds. Extra credit will be given to those who can find someone to play their Harvey Kinkle.
